CZ 457 magazine diassembly
How to disassembly the magazine? The process it the same regardless of the material or capacity of the magazine.
Lets go step by step:
- Use some thin pin and insert into the hole on the bottom of the mag.
- By inserting you push down a pin that secures the mag pad in its position.
- At the same time you slowly and gently slide the mag pad forward.
- Pull off the mag pad completely.
- Remove the spring, remove the plate, and magazine is now disassembled.
You would not be the first one to diassembly the magazine but never assembly it back together. So here is a quick list of what to be extra careful about during disassembly and subsequent reassembly:
- during disassembly do not lose the base pin and base pin spring – both can jump out right after opening, and
- during reassembly make sure that the larger part of follower is in the front, and that the spring is put back in correct direction – i.e. the end of the spring shall be in the back of the magazine.
